Doom & Gloom Dispatch #60: Time To Move On

Since I’ve gotten a few questions about it, I’ve decided (for reasons) to pause the Doom & Gloom substack newsletter ... I looked into other newsletter options but I am feeling lazy. Maybe I’ll get it rolling sometime in the future. TIME WILL TELL.

However! The D&G tumblr blog is rolling on, the same as it has for the past 15 (!) years. If you’re not aware, this is the original Doom & Gloom, with all the Doom & Gloominess you’ve come to love. Think of it as a cool website that you visit and read.

Anyway, tons of good stuff this week — a radical live set from Setting, an alternate version of Songs of Leonard Cohen, the Dirty Three on the radio in 1996, an amazing “deluxe edition” of 13th Floor Elevators’ debut LP and some seriously cosmic pedal steel situations. Come hang out!
